About the Conference

Urban Transitions 2026 aims to promote healthy urban development by bringing together diverse disciplines working in cities. Meet global experts in housing, urban and transport planning, architecture, public health, climate change, and governance to discuss challenges and solutions.

Cities face numerous environmental, climatic, and health issues. Poor urban and transport planning is part of the problem—but also part of the solution. Great improvement potential lies in integrated policies and multi-sector collaboration.

2nd Graduate Studies Conference 2026 will focus on the five main themes: Interior Architecture, Contemporary Islamic Architecture, Urban Planning and Design, Technology and Artificial Intelligence, Historical Preservation and Sustainable Development. Abstracts are invited for submission by 1 May 2026.
